|  Side Mount Plate for the M for sale.
Well when I first got my M the first thing I did because I always wanted it was to move my license plate to a side mount. Mind I did not look to see if it broke the law because I did not question it because all the harley guys had them it seemed. Well I moved it to a real nice arlen ness side mount I got at his shop in dublin, it cost me $90. Well after riding on it for a little over a year I finally got pulled over by the CHP and was informed I need to remove the side mount as it is not legal in California. He let me go with a warning and did not issue a fix it ticket. I work at cycle gear so I have been seeing a lot of people coming in with fix it tickets for license plate location. I guess they decided to start cracking down on it. So in the end my favorite quick fix on my M must go. I can no longer ride with it. I know there might be some people on here looking for a side mount so I thought I would offer it here first before I throw it on ebay. The side mount is an arlen ness model, it has LED lights built in so it lights the plate up. It is a quick awesome fix that makes the bike look awesome. PM me if interested, if there is no interest I will just post up on ebay after a little while.     |
