Hay there Limited, I plan on keeping this bike for a few more years, so I might be in the market for a set if you still have any left.

QUESTION: I am 6'-1 and 255 lbs, so what would be the overall theoretical benefit of these risers for me, when used with the stock handlebars?

Comfort? Control? Handling? etc....?

I already have the John's Kits forwards, and love them. Do the risers help with overall rider fit up, along with the forwards? Just looking for some background on how they improve rideability.

I will let some other's chime in, I'm only 5'10", but will give the reasons I like them and made them....
The riser spacers are 1 inch high so at the angle they are installed they move the bars up and back around 3/4 of a inch, that gives you the ability to roll the bars back more if needed, for pull back up to 2 inches..
But what what I like about them, is the following.....
1- My arms are in a more relaxed position, and not stretched out.
2-The speedo is moved to a better viewing angle, for us getting older...lol
3- The steering seams more responsive, maybe just me , because elbows are at ease now.

For better response, you might want to ask the group, or bump up the old thread....everyone , of all heights , have sent me good reviews, after they install them.

And I have 5 sets left, as of today
Jeff

Thanks for the reply and the info Limited.

I am considering this heavily, but, first, I want to go back to the original thread, if I can find it, and read up again.

Again, is the cost $55 plus $6 shipping?

Stand by...............................

Spring is almost here, I have a few sets of riser spacers left.
If you need a set, get them before they are gone, and riding weather is here

I am 6'4" and 225 lbs and have both forward controls and the risers and can say they improve fit and rideablity nicely. Only way I know of to get more rise and pullback is to install new handlebars. This is much simpler and in my opinion does the job nicely.

Any left? After swapping out the stock seat, I could definitely use 'em.
