For the amount you will spend on finding a running motor/trans you will be better off pulling the motor yourself and either taking it to a shop for a rebuild or rebuilding it yourself.

I have an issue in my trans and I have searched for awhile for a motor/trans and finally found something halfway rebuilt in Cali for $500 shipped to my door. You can save yourself alot of money by pulling the engine and tearing it apart to the point where you will need to have the engine case separated. When you get down to thsi point you will most likely see the culprit of the knocking (possibly bad bearing). Let me know if you want any additional info/help

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

That's where I found mine.
