goo gone is some pretty good stuff. You can also use 3M adhesive remover and even laquer thinner if you are veeeerrrrryyy careful. Heating it with a blow dryer helps a little also.

Tried the goop off, didn't work as well as good old WD-40. I use WD-40 for just about everything, been using it for years to remove road tar from my car and bike.

To be safe, whatever product you use, wash it off your paint as soon as you're done with a good automotive car or bike wash.

if you use one of those adhesive removers, wash and wax the bike again. they strip off some of the wax so you should do it again for extra protection.

try finger nail polish remover. just be sure to wipe clean afterwards. that should get off any left over residue.

Or, if you prefer not to use chemicals and solvents, try some white masking tape. The sticky of the tape won't stick to the paintwork, and it will remove the glue residue. (Has bought many CD's & DVD's in the past removing extra sticky price tags)

for the future, when removing stickers from paint, use a hair dryer.

What makes you think everybody has a hairdryer ?.

I'm bald !, thanks for rubbing it in !.

If you're using fingernail polish remover, do you wipe with panties.

In case you're serious, you shouldn't use paper products to wipe your finish it could scratch it.

they make a decal eraser wheel that goes on a drillor air tool. works great. it will take off the decals, stripes and the glue... you can get this at most autobody paint store and autoparts stores........
here's a link to one type so you will know what to look for.

Default Or...

You could just by a tank bag, or tank accent peice and cover the sticker.
I have never been botherd by the sticker sitting 8 inches infront of my crotch when I am riding with my head looking at the road, other bikes, the many people looking at me, the guages, and warning lights, and some times the street signs, and traffis signals.
