I picked up a signal dynamics dual led license plate frame.
Each led has 3 wires.
Black is ground, Red is brake, White is running light.
On the bike, Black with white stripe is ground, Brown is running light,
White with black stripe is brake light.

I assume under the seat is the easiest place to connect.

As I have 2 wires to connect to each of the 3 bike wires, do I use one connector for each connection.
The connector is the one called a tap splice connector

If you hear that the pacificnorthwest suffered a major blackout, you will know it was me.

I have the same thing and haven't done anything with the connections yet..
I've been trying to decide how I want to work it..
maybe take the 2 side LED bars and connect to respective flasher circuit
and the top/bottom bars for the brake...
In preparation, I have run a 5 conductor cable from under the seat to the tail assy, alongside the existing electrical harness in the wheel well.
When I do make the connections, I'll probably buy some of those good Molex type that the factory uses in the harnesses.. you can get those at Radio Shack, too. I'll probably solder the black, red and white wires at the plate together to make one connection for each circuit. otherwise we'd need 12 wires running from under the seat!
I've had a couple of scotch-lok splice connectors under the seat for about a year now for my Back-Off module. But I've been warned that they really are only good for temporary connections.
On my husband's VTX, we bought some really good "bullet" style M/F crimp connectors to hook up the lighting for his trunk from our local Lowe's home improvement store. They've been reliable for a month now.. I don't expect any problems.
I look forward to hearing how you tackle the problem.. and I'll report my experience too.

Hi Tron;
I went out to-day to do. First I unpacked and took plate off mounted with the frame, note our plates are larger so the plate frane is a custom.
So it came with no instructions, no problem, I downloaded from Signal Dynamics and they stated there was enough wiring to go under the seat. Well of course there was not.
So I have it mounted but not wired. I live in a Condo, so the bike is undercover on the parking lot, which means I can not run back and forth leaving things laying around. I am going to check at where I can pickup at the rear tail light.
I prefer to not drill any holes in case I decide to reverse.
I will check on VolusiaRiders.com, I seem to recall seeing it.
I was hoping V0lsia would catch this and send me in the right direction, I have not seen him in awhile.
I should have drilled the plate, so the wires ran direct out the back, instead I ran them out the bolt holes, here we turn our plates in if we cancel insurance so I am not sure drilling them is legal.
I wanted the quad LED Frame but the dealer did not have a custom in stock and I refused to pay anymore. The dual was $140 Cdn.
I hope to have done on Monday as the wife is off for the next 2 days. I will post how I made out. Thanks for sharing.

My son came over today and did the connection for the Dual LED running/brakelight.
He removed the brakehousing and plate holder. He then ran the ground to the
round off the taillight, cut the ground soldered one of each incoming grounds to each of the cut ground, then soldered the 2 grounds together.
He did the same for the runninglight and brakelight.

There is no room to work and it was a pain getting the gasket to lineup just right. Unless you have a shop with a lift, allow 2 hours for the job.

He notched the plate top and bottom, for the wires, allowing the plate to be removed without cutting the wires.

To make it easy to remove the plate, we left the extra length of wires bundled behind the backing plate, secured with a cable tie.

I will take a picture in the next couple of days.
