Well I just turned 10K on my C50t and my clutch was smoked. I had just changed the oil at the 2K mark, then went for a ride. When I took off in first it was fine and then to second, still okay. When I hit third and about 3500 RPM, she felt like she was loosing power. But the RPM kept pulling.

Well I backed off while in third still and this time I just turned on the gas and sure enough, the RPM jumped up but my bike just moved, clutch slipage.

Well after a few more tests, yes it was a definate clutch issue. So I replace both the steels and fibers with OEM and I also added Barnett springs. Now she is preforming as she should.

Back to the clutch plates, the steels are fine, but the fiber plates are excessivly worn and are almost as hard as steel.

Hey friends,

I have a 05 C-50 with a Memphis Shades Fat 22" winshield. Obviously MS doesn't not offer a lowers product for this bike. Can anyone make a recommendation on some lowers that will work with a Memphis Shades trigger release winshield?

I am not having any luck...the goofballs at J&P send me some lowers to match my black halved winshield with hardware for a 1.79 is fork, go figure, since it is about 3" in diameter. Any help would be appreciated.

Please email me at txrob7779@aol.com
