I just took on trade an 83 ds80 and when its in gear it falls on its face from 1/2 throttle to open but it doesnt do it in neutral. I cleaned the carb and adjusted the carb 1 1/2 turns out I don't know if this setting's right but it ran like that. Does this have something to do with the cable that is spliced into my throttle cable going into the left side of the motor? Or am I just overlooking something simple that I should know haha Any help would be better than no help at all or if anybody knows of any links that have the schematics for this motor that would be awesome. Has anyone else had this problem?

When I start the bike it seems to run idle better on when choke is pushed in. How am I supposed to run the bike with the choke pulled out or pushed in?
