I'm keeping my M-50 for cruising. With just a few miles riding the Bandit, I can say that it's a completely different riding experience than the M-50 - tremendous performance. It is now called a GSX1250, comes in a touring model also complete with full hard bag setup and new windscreen. LOL same screen I just put on. Same as the Bandit 1250 with diffrent plastics. The bike has been flawless. I expect to put 10,000/yr on it now that I'm commuting. If I win the lottery I'll buy something else just for the fun of it, but right now I'm happy with the ol' dog.
