911 Remembrance ride - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

Anybody on the southside of Atlanta going on the 911 Remembrance ride out of fayetteville next sat./10. It will be leaving Blackjacks motorcycles in fayetteville at 10a going to lake lanier with a police escort. The cost with be $25. for rider & $15. for passenger. Where is Blackjacks in fayetteville anyway.

Willie,, didn't know anything about it???? Do you have a link to it or a website?? Give me the info and I will pass it along to my riding group. Might be a good ride to attend and to remember the fallen victims and the fallen heros this country has.

Hey Willie,, Kelley and myself will be attneding this ride. We will get there by 9:00 am to register and I also posted it on the "Misfits" ride post section. So if you are going let me know,, maybe we will get to meet up and ride again this weekend. Talk to you later, Sean.

Would like to go, never been on one of these before. Did not want to show up on a metric bike with nothing but harley.s around. Do you know where Blackjacks is in Fayettevillie.

Go to that link,, they said it is on Hwy 54 between Peachtree City and Fayetteville. I am going to get better directions tomorrow. Will have to scope it out. I posted it with my riding group and they sent out an email on it. Will have to see if there is any turn out from them but Kelley and myself will be there. I will call you tomorrow evening after I find out more.

Willie and anyone else here is the info I found out today. Take I-85 south out of Atlanta to Hwy 74 exit (Peachtree City exit), get off the ramp and turn left. Take Hwy 74 to Hwy 54 and then turn left onto Hwy 54. Go through Peachtree City and once you pass the McDonald's, the Dairy Queen, and then the Publix's,,, Blackjack's Motorcycles will be on the left.

There is a median divider that will force you to go past Blackjack's but shortly after you will find a place to make a U-Turn.

The registration starts at 8:00 am and they will be pulling out somewhere between 10:00 am and 10:30 am. I would count on being there no later than 9:00 in order to get registered and make sure you get the free goodies(doughnuts and coffee) and the ride patch.

Smurf, Willie, and anyone else ought to join in on this one. Might be kinda fun to do if you have never done one. I will call you Willie or you can call me tonight. See ya Saturday morning bright and early!!!!

Good Ride!!!!! Thanks for posting this and the invite Willie!!!!! It was great to ride with you and your brother in law again. Sorry for the out of the way directions. Will have to look harder for the road signs next time. It's only a little gas and sun anyways!!!! Let me know if something else comes up. I'll call you to make sure you two made it home ok. Maybe next time the police escort on the highway will keep it legal!!!LOL!!!!!

Thats the best fun i have ever had for $25. Get to run with around 75 bikes, at speeds up to 90mph. With a police escort, running red lights, with a pretty girl behind me running a full dress harley. It dont get better than this.

Good pics Willie!!!!! You can edit me out of them next time LOL!!!!! I liked the look of the Victory,, but I am telling you,, the "LC" sits, feels, and is sharper than the Victory I was sitting on. PLUS it is a HECK of alot cheaper than the Victory!!!!!

Enjoyed it and looking forward to riding with you and Joey again soon!!!!! Glad that everyone made it home safe and soundd yesterday!!!!
