Where is Speed Queen?? and New Evolution????? I will be there Friday after or around lunch. Will start putting up the tent and then will wait till I hear from Pinhy before I go riding around. New Evolution needs to call me on my cell and let me know if he will be hanging or not. Speed Queen get ahold of Road Mamma or myself if you are still coming.

See you guys tomorrow and Saturday,, ride safe and let me know when you are heading that way,,, Sean.

I just bought a new full face. I like the feel. Less buffeting.
I was thinking Doug, your posts remind me of my biggest fear in my younger days. Two words... late period. Get it?

ok I am here in Macon,, will be leaving out of here first thing in the morning. My friend is coming down tomorrow versus Saturday. I spoke with "New Evolution",, he said that we will probably be able to meet up with him tomorrow night and we can go check out the Gainesville nightlife. Opening weekend for the first University of Florida game at home,, can you say "Lots O Chickies"!!!!!!! Yea!!!!! I AM SO STOKED!!!!!! I should be there between 1:00 to 3:00,, not sure what time exactly,, depends on how long I have to sit in gas lines tomorrow.

Looking forward to meeting everyone,,, Tim--- Ya coming up brother???? Listen to your wife,, she says for you to go riding up there together,,, give me a buzz tomorrow and let me know. I'll be calling Road Mamma, Pinhy, Intimid8er, and New Evolution tomorrow when I find out when I will be there.

Have a safe trip stp1971. Let us know if you are seeing a problem with gas. I called the Bed & Breakfast place last night to ask about gas but no answer. Looks like the weather is going to be perfect.

My bike is all ready to go just have to pack her up.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

i packed up last night...camera is coming with me. leaving office at noon..home to load up the bike and should be on the road by 1.

went out and bought a box of bungee's the other day...havent opened them yet. i start packing up the saddlebags (first time i have used them after buying them from a guy on metriccruisers.com for a great price) and find a bungee in each one! plus i had one that came with my 81 GS650 and it had a spider web bungee too.....so i can return that $11 pack to wally world!

Confirmed....

He's holed up under a canopy of a gas station 30 miles out of town.

Hi Stp1971 & Pinhy,

It was awesome meeting you two plus Kelly,Pete and Rachel. I can't tell you how much Carlos & I enjoyed your company.

Pinhy, thanks for the great ride on Sun. You are voted for the ride leader this day forward.

Carlos & I returned home 1:25 pm. We made awesome time great weather for the start of the ride. We left the Grady House at 9:45 AM cloud cover for half of the trip home which made it cool temp wise. That wind was terrible we did go back a different way.

I will post pics later today.

Sorry, some of you couldn't make it you sure missed a great time. I have a feeling Stp1971 wasn't that keen on the rain Sun. night (hee hee).

Big hugs Stp1971 & Pinhy,
Road Momma

I am glad everyone made it back safe and sound!!!! Those rain drops yesterday were something else!!!! Glad you guys didn't have to endure that today. Few sprinkles close to home Doug,, good deal!!!

You guys are welcome ANYTIME to come crash at my place if you are wanting to ride up here or even if you are passing through!!!!! New Friends INDEED!!!! Hopefully you will get to come up here and ride the mountains with us. We got the twisties for you to play around with.

RM you did a fine job on the bike,, bringing up Tailgunner I was watching all of you and for the most part we all rode in a good formation and was able to keep a good lookout for each other.

That Diner needs more motorcycle parking there with a covered roof!!!!!!

Good meeting you guys finally!!!! I enjoyed it and I am looking forward to the next time we get to ride again!!!!
