Yea definately man. PM me or email me your cell # as well. We can see what we can do. You can hang with us Saturday an if we decide to go over to Gainesville for the night then if you have a car and with my truck we can have a ride to the bar in case everyone wants to drink. Don't want to be drinking and riding. Sounds Great Man!!! If you have any friends,, they are welcome to come hang as well!!!

Hello;

Are we all ready for our Labor Day Wk. end Rally

I need to pick up a web bundgie and a cable lock then this girl is ready. Not sure about my packing but don't think I will have a problem.Hubby had 2 big bags he doesn't know it yet but he is going to share some of his space (hee hee).

Keep your fingers crossed that we don't run into rain. I do not do rain

I will get the name of the place across the street from Grady House we could all meet there Sat. evening for dinner. We should be getting in town around noon or so I will call stp1971 on his cell when we get into town. I will call you stp1971 when we leave Panama City.

See you all next wk.

Yep,, good to go. Finished wiring the new lights and I put new bearings, seals, and tires on it today. I checked out the tent and it seems to be in pretty good shape. I have a tarp in case by some weird freak of nature we have rain(hopefully not). I have an extra sleeping bag and a extra fleece sleeping bag if someone needs to borrow one.

Will pack the rest of the truck and I am planning on still leaving early Friday morning. Lets all pray for good weather!!!! NO RAIN!!!!! Hopefully we will have a tour guide for an evening if New Evolution shows up also. Get that bike running!!!!!

Well looking forward to it guys and gals!!!!

Good Deal New Evolution!!!!! Get it going!!!! I will be there around lunchtime on Friday,, Pinhy is coming up Friday as well. Road Mamma is coming Saturday around lunchtime as well as my friend from Macon. I am not sure when Speed Queen is arriving yet (--pm me speed queen so I will know), still have a few others that are interested and not yet confirmed. I have a two room tent that anyone is welcome to try to find a spot to crash in.

I have a cot and an air matress. My friend has a cot as well. I will have an extra sleeping bag but if anyone has an extra bag bring it just in case.

Agenda is for us to go tubing and just chill out on Saturday. We will be going out to dinner on Saturday evening. Sunday Pinhy has a ride planned out for us. Then we will see what else we can get into Sunday as well. Stoked about the Ocala National forest ride!!!!! And the Don Garlitts Drag Race Museum should be a cool place to check out for everyone also. Then Monday we will all head out.

Anyone else interested email me, Pinhy, or Road Mamma. Looking forward to meeting everyone!!!

YUP! getting psyched now!

Sean and i are thinking we will be the only 2 there friday evening, so we make make a trip over to G-Ville (New Evo will you be around??). id like to see the old alma mater again, and the first football game of the season is sat night, so the town will be PARTYING!!! will be cool to be out on the bikes on University Ave with all the RV's and alumni rolling in for the game.

I played around with the route to make it a little shorter (took off the southern part). its still a good 240 miles. Ocala National Forest is a good part though so we'll have to do that at least, even if we have to jump on I-75 to head "home" in the evening. once out of there we wind up right near the Drag Racing Museum...so that will be a possibility.

CRISIS OF THE TRIP!!!!!!! What are you guys hearing about gasoline rationing this weekend?????? I am hearing that Georgia may possibly be rationing gasoline this week and this weekend. They have already jumped the price of gas from $2.49 yesterday to $2.69 this morning to at lunch $2.89 per gallon. I am hearing that by labor day they are claiming $4.25 a gallon. If they are rationing gasoline this could pose a serious problem for out travel plans. Doug and Sharon give me a call or I will call you.

Anyone with any info on this would be appreciated.

gas is up to $2.99.9 a gallon here in New Mexico..was talking to standard (chevron) manager this morning and he said gas will be raised .30 this evening... this is for regular unleaded......know this does not help you but think it will go up all over the US......

Yea they are saying $4.25 by labor day!!!!! I say we all revolt,,, NO MORE BUSH!!!!!

We keep funneling money to Iraq and they are paying $.08 a gallon over there. You would think,, and I know this is just a rogue idea,, but maybe they would sell us gasoline to help us out. They ought to be giving us some of that oil,, but at the very least they could sell us the dang oil!!!! If I don't get to tube this weekend I am going to be PEE-ED!!!!!

Sean,

I have no idea why you couldn't get a hold of me yesterday. I was getting calls all day. I did see on the news last night that Atlanta gas prices were so off the board. Our gas prices here are in the high 2's I don't think we will see $3.00 this wk. end. The weather for our area this wk.end looks awesome I hope Pinhy was wrong with his forcast.

I will call you this morning.

Ok we are on,, packing, washing the bike, checking air pressures, and loading up. Will be on the road to Macon this evening. Should still be on target for Friday arrival. Gonna suck it up and hopefully the dollars will outlast the miles!!!!!
