 |  Long Ride Anyone? Iron Butt Style!
Well, on my list of things do do before my stay is up, is an Iron Butt Ride. I've racked up a lot of miles over the last 30 plus years of riding and done some real high mileage days, but not "Officially". No route planned yet, just wondering if any one else might want to join me on burning up some miles? Riding out of LA to who knows where at this point. As soon as the weather is clear and stable, and before the heat sets in, I"m planning on giving it a go. I know, it's shear slabbing at a fast clip, for the most part, and no time to enjoy many twisties along the way. I'm hopeful of finding some back roads and not just all Super Slab! Thinking of either the Saddle Sore or the Bun Burner,1000 miles in under 24 hours / 1500 miles in under 36 hours! ** I know we have a couple riders on the forum that have done it.
