Default Sunday 11-14-04 LA area ride

In an effort to deny the arrival of winter a few of us in my local club are planning a ride north to the Morro Bay area for lunch, then return to the LA area. Just one of our "shorter" day rides! Should be around 500 miles with no freeway travel, pure twisty stuff.

It will be a very "brisk" pace with minimal stops. Any forum members in the LA, Central Cal, SoCal areas interested in going? Ride leaves Moorpark at 8:30. May be riding into the darker hours before we are done.

Remember it is winter here, so bring a long sleeve T Shirt in case it gets cool!

Have fun!!!

Snow? That's not allowed here! An even better reason to come back here and ride! Grab that passport and rent a bike!

Hey Chris I sent you a PM, Check it out.

Well, our Sunday ride was awesome. Temp never got below 55 degrees. All the cruisers were at the Love Ride, so the sport bikes had the canyons! Total miles for the day, 600! I'm a little sore! That's a lot twisties!

7 riders total. Perfest size group for this type of ride. The ride started at 8:30 and ended at 6:45 for the rider nearest the finish in Santa Barbara. The rest took till after 9:00 to wander home as far away as Long Beach.

Only one incident to speak of. An ejection seat,
when the rear section of a motorcycle seat comes unlatched
at a buck thirty,
it's an ejection seat,
and everything that was under it gets sucked out really, really fast.

Time to go to work and rest!

Very little time for pictures but here are a few.
