I am *excitedly* heading to Greenville this weekend for the bike show, and I hope you all are too. As a newb rider, this is a sneaky way for me to go and sit on all kinds of bikes, and find what types fit me (since I'm "fun sized" and not very tall). That way, I don't feel in any way awkward, because I know millions will be putting their arses on the bikes as well.  Also, I'm heading towards the gear stands, to look at helmets. I nearly shat myself with most helmets running at 500 bucks a pop!! Seriously? I had convinced myself to be okay with the costs of the other things (bike included!), but nearly had a coronary at the cost of a helmet! What are some quality named helmets that I can look for, but won't rip a huge hole in my wallet before I even get my bike? Any advice is greatly welcomed  PG |
