|  Guiness World Record Fastest 1Km Wheelie Attempt
Hello guys this September 22nd & 23rd in a small village called Elvington Near York in England there is goint to be the guiness 1km fastest wheelie event. For any one who isn't familiar with this the record the fastest people are Terry Calcot set @ 172mph, 1st Mick Tickle 160mph, 2nd and Nev Moss 156mph, 3rd To qualify each competetor has to carry the wheelie for 1 whole kilometre and the speed is taken by timing lights at the end. last year we were lucky enough to have the ghost rider there who did a Flying wheelie of 200 and something mph, we shared the strip with Straight liners and their bikes were exceeding speeds of 250mph. It was amazingly incredible to witness. Seeing as though it is my great husband who is in third position (and on a standard GSX-R1000 K2) we are going again this year and can't wait, so anyone who is near enough please try to come and join us. if you want further details contact me lpmoss@hotmail.co.uk  |
