Mad River Run and Rally

Any northeast riders should check this out. Vermont has some awesome riding and the Mad River Valley is an awesome place to visit.

i am not a northeast rider but checked it out. certainly looks like a VERY nice place for riding and having fun. the road sign is new to me - ours is only a written sign, i think. at a glance i thought it would be a warning sign for "watch out for a runaway truck" well, it will turn to be

The emergency turn off areas for run away trucks are kinda cool looking too. I've never seen one used but after you pass a couple of them, it has you looking over your shoulder now and then !

The sign is a caution sign for steep grades and RT 17 has plenty pf those. The Long Trail actually crosses wherethat sign is.
