Ok folks,, give me your input on this but thus far the 7th is going to be the dates.

Oh yeah,, I was thinking about maybe doing the main trip this time and incoporating it as a Blue Ridge trip and some highlights of NC28 maybe. Still have to confer with Rainman but we want to make it as good of a route as last time but we will try to save everyone's bottoms and not make it a 260 mile run.

The other day I was thinking we could also go over to the motorcycle museum and also incoporate maybe the casinos in Cherokee, North Carolina for a few hours as well.

Ok, this sounds cool! For my input, the "Honda Hoot" is June 21-24th in Knoxville, TN. Lots of Bikes do rides through the Dragon and Gatlinburg from there, both planned rides from the Hoot, and just "wanderers".. So, consider that in planning... (I'll make any excuse to go to the Dragon and the mountains of NC)

Welcome GAgirlTrixie!!! Hey we would love to have you and your crew join us. I believe we are going to go ahead and make it officially the weekend of the 7th-10th. I talked to a couple of the Misfits and they are marking the calendars as well for that date.

Neighbors I would love to make the Gatlinburg [2nd Motorcycle-Journal.com Ride Days] ride this year, will have to wait until late December to find out which weekends I will have to work on-call then if on-call week [Wednesday to Wednesday] covers that weekend see if someone at work will swap weeks with me.

If I can make it I will just have to hook{’em horns} with you people.

Uncle B.

Ps: I just want to go ride the Dragon.

Ok here it is people. I spoke with Susan at teh Riverterrace Resort and she has penciled us in for the seven riverfront rooms adjacent to the parking garage. Those rooms are a mixture of one king or two queen bedrooms. They are $89.00 a night.

What I need from you all is the following.
1. What type of room you will want. Standard room- One king or two queens not on the water and without a jacuzzi. The deluxe rooms are either one king on the water, one king with a jacuzzi, or two queens on the river.

2. I need to know if you have preferance on the covered garage parking spot rooms or if the building we had poolside will be fine as well. If you want a covered parking room riverside then there is a limited number level with the parking garage.

3. I need to know if anyone is planning on rooming with another person as well. So basically I need the number of rooms I need to allocate.

Upon talking to her she said that it is a little different now then it was back in June in that we need a good estimate of total number of rooms. She said that if we think that we will need 15 rooms then she will hold us fifteen rooms but if they are not reserved prior to one month before then they will go back into their inventory.

She also said that the likely hood of last minute rooms available will probably not be there. So the best thing to do is determine if you want to go and then commit to a room reservation. Then if you see about a month and a half prior that you aren't going to make it then you can cancel out or see if someone else will take your room.

We may not be able to add rooms like I did last time. Once I commit to a number of rooms then that might be the total number we have to work with.

So let's go ahead and get the numbers together.

Well looks like we have two rooms committed. Send me the info people!!! I need details!!!! The more details the better. I have a better chance of getting the room you want if you let me know now what we will need.

Thanks BlaznBlu for your input!!!!! The last trip we had a surprise arrival with the arrival of Nut. Who will make a guest appearance this year???

whores??? well,... oh, nevermind, I'll leave this one alone.

I would like to make it, but we are planning a trip to Denmark in June next year. We haven't set a firm date yet, but we are working on it.

Then I will have to convince my s/o to let me go....

Well we can count you in for the artwork again though right??? If you are thinking of going then go ahead and let me know. We are not locked into being held responsible for the total number of rooms. Just might not be able to get extra once I commit.
