The rules; must complete the Dragon on the back of Sunny's bike.

Hey Tim, we could get a good pool here. Have it posted in Vegas!

on the back of MY bike??? i don't want to be doing my first wheelie down the dragon!!!
not to mention i'm sure i'd have to adjust the rear shocks to account for the um... extra weight.

no, make him ride behind dragbar! that's not to say that dragbar is a bad rider, on the contrary.
but the peg scraping, leg jerking thing should definitely be a part of his experience...

in other words, you are scared to place the responsibility of your ride into someone elses hands...

Dam straight, a little fear at the right time, and the right place has kept me alive all these years.

Besides I think it would bother me a lot to be having everyone else waiting for us at all the stops till we got there.

This isn't like at home where the Mom gets to make the rules, oh wait a minuet, never mind, I forgot you have teenagers, you don't get to make the rules there either.

All kidding aside, is your bike going to be running this year?

Sean, I am making reservations as I type. Just waiting for conformation. This will be a great ride like the last one. Just let me know what you will need from me, I will help out anyway I can. I can't wait to see the group this year.

Hi Brian, good to see your on board. Did I hear right, that you had a little mishap with your Triumph? If so, I hope you got everything fixed up OK.

I have some things that need to be worked out before I can book my room. I'll try and not wait till the last minuet like last year. Having a roommate worked out fine, your easy to get along with, but I'll feel better if I have it all set up ahead of time. I know that I can always cancel later if I have to, but I hate to do that, so I'll just wait a while yet.

Cool!!!! Well talked to Susan today and we have 15 of the 25 rooms booked. As I have said before if you are thinking of going try to book in the next month because they are rapidly running out of rooms outside of the 25 we have locked in. I have to have at least 23 booked before we can allot anymore to us.

Well I know that alot of people are curious as to what the ride will entail this year and are not committing until you know. So it looks like Rainman, MisfitsGeek, and myself are going up there the 16th and the 17th to seriously plot a Great Course this year. We are determined to make this years course as fun as last years if not better.

So we are going armed with GPS and maps in hand to see what hidden roads we can find. Rainman has alot,,and when I say alot,, I mean ALOT of ideas he wants to incorporate this year. We are going to do the Dragon whether it be the main ride or another day but we are leaning on doing it as part of the main ride if some of his ideas pan out. Also the Cherohala is being tossed around as well. But there are alot of different ideas to check out and we are taking three (well two and a half) days to do it. But if we do not finalize it that weekend we will go back again.

Also on the agenda is we are going to go and try to see if some of the local joints will be willing to reserve some room for us to gather for eats and other as well. There are a few who have some really great ideas as well. Outlaw threw out a great one to me which I'd like for him to pursue if it will work.

I am really looking forward to getting everyone together and meeting the new faces and seeing the ones from last year as well.

But seriously,, we all need to start pumping this out to everyone on the forum and getting the word out to the ones who may not know. I know I have been absent alot on here lately with all this getting hitched soon, new house, plus the evil websense blocks. But I am ready to get this train rollin' and I can hardly wait till June!!!!

Also for anyone who is going to be coming through Atlanta or wants to ride up with the Atlanta group feel free to join us. We had a huge group go up with us last time and the roads we took were as fun as the Main ride of the trip.

I will be updating the list of attendees so if you do not see your name on the list in a few days shoot me a message and let me know.

Let's trample tham thar hills!!!!!
