Default Pondering A Blue Ridge Parkway Ride

Just wondering how many would be interested in a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway in September? We would stay in Ashville so there is plenty to do for the S/O and kiddys.

Cool ride

Pinhy, just remeber you may have to ride more than two days and that would go against your three day rule woudn't it

If your interested you could always ride in a truck and watch so on the way back you can remember how to take corners

Hmmm,, forgot about the Labor Day Ginnie Trip. Will have to look into that as well. But with the Ginnie Trip I probably wasn't going to be able to bring the bike anyways. Myself, Kelley, and my brother all have the kids to contend with for that weekend I think.

But I will look into that as well. Asheville would cost probably a couple of hundred dollars. Ginnie might cost a few hundred bucks. But first thing is to make sure all the funds are there for Biketoberfest with me. Then the others will be looked into.

If we proceed with this, may I request it not be Labor Day weekend due to higher prices, more people on the roads, etc.

Can we look into either around Aug 25 or Sept 23 weekends if there are no conflicts?

i agree about it not being on the labor day weekend. i would like to avoid the Oct thing too. the wife and i go up there and it's a mad house with old people looking at the changing leaves. i know there are like 7 bikes from here that will go. even if there's not a big turn out it will be a fun trip.

If we can nail down a weekend, I stand a 75% of showing up. Hell I'll bring a tent if I have to.
