Default Eureka Springs AR area

Anyone in that area I need some info if you have it.

I'll be meeting up with a military buddy there on the 23rd. Unfortunately I won't have time to try to hook up a ride with anyone this time around.

Do any of you have info on Hwy 86/Hwy 21 and what type of shape they are in..etc?

I was looking at the maps and thought I might leave Hwy 65 after crossing out of Missouri and take that until I hit Hwy 62.

I only have about 24 hours..I'm going 2 meet someone...crashing a wedding and then leaving Saturday sometime. She has to be back to work in Tulsa on Sunday so time is limited.

So I won't have time to wonder too far around Beaver lake..etc. Though I do plan on riding 62 all the way back through your home on my way back to Cape. :p

pop the throttle a few times thru Black Rock for me...... btw are you talking about HWY 63? enjoy that road while you can. they are in the process of 4 laning it from Jonesboro all the way thru to the Springfield area. It will be Interstate 555..... the stretch from Imboden, AR to Thayer, MO is a great ride.

OH MAN LET ME TELL YA!!!! she makes tha BEST beans and corn bread in the whole universe. she has this yellow squash relish (chow chow) that you put on them and dizam!!!! oh, btw, the sweet tea is the best in the south also. if they like ya they might even fry up some deer meat. they live on 63. when you go over the big blue bridge over Black River about 1.5-2 miles on the left is a business called Eagan Mfg. that is my step fathers business. stop in and say hi for me if you get a chance. they would get a kick out of that.

Well made it back ok. Came through Black Rock and saw the business. Was trying to make up some time though, cause I got behind every single 40 mph driver in Northern Arkansas.

Has a good time in Eureka Springs, though didn't ride much. Mainly drank..haha. Will have to go back for a strictly ride weekend soon. Very nice town and area though.

Well when you come home, you can show me some of those great twisties I have yet to hit.

Actually I kinda liked that road from Black Rock, up through Davidson Park to just outside Pocahontas.

Looking at my ride map graph..I've got alot of counties to fill out. But after returning and looking over my back tire, I'll definately have to get a new one within the next month. My fronts good but I'll change it out too.

there is one corner coming down a hill just outside of B.R. long sweeper to the right. i grew up just to the left of that corner up the gravel road about 1/4 mile. that area has all changed. they just put that road in when i was a junior in highschool. it used to be gravel and ended at the river. we used to party our butts off down on the river by where the bridge is now. kinda makes me homesick.... road trip in the making!!!!

My hometown, I can't wait to get a trailer so when I take the family back down there I can ride my old neighborhood.

Lol, Now that I think back to it I wonder why people thought it to be cool to ride up and down nettleton all night. I don't think it would be as much fun now with gas prices being over a million dollars a gallon. It would be fun if everyone had bikes back then though

thinkin back it was kinda weird. everyone just driving by staring at each other. we didn't know many people. we would stop in the parking lot by the burger king and talk with a few people, but the end result was never worth the effort. all seems kinda pointless now. we had more fun at the parties we threw down on the river anyways.
