| Top Gear ! Full Throttle! ![]() | Well I guess no one knows what to do in Chicago. I rode from my place in the western suburbs out to Starved Rock yesterday. Beautiful ride, about 90 minutes. 55 south to I80, then west to exit 81. Its a beautiful area and anyone in the vicinity should go. There's also a ton of other motorcyclists out there. Anyways, have fun.

| M-J.Com Master Poster ![]() | Hey check this out. http://www.motorcycleroads.us/il.html When going down to Starved Rock try taking route 6 through Morris, Seneca, Marseilles to Ottawa. I usually start the trip out by taking 83 to 171 (Archer) into Joliet get off at the 1st exit and head south to route 6. It's a much more scenic route and less traffic. I want to try Lake Bluff to Evanston some day but lately have been riding in northwest Illinois. For a quick 40 mile ride I like to ride 83 to 107th then the back roads of Orland Park and Romeoville and Bolingbrook. Another good ride is taking 12 straight up to Lake County up to the Channel Lakes. You should come out with us sometime; you live in the same town as me. |
