Hmm I thought Foghat had died... I guess playing for a itty bitty bike show in Florida is about as good as dead.

Thinking about heading over, depends on if I get my bike put back together in time (painting). Trying to get some friends together and go over Saturday / Sunday. I'll let you know if we are going.

We Plan to go Friday and Sunday, will bring a camera.

PS itty bitty bike show is growing year by year. Many around here prefer it to the madness (?) of Daytona

Default Day 1

Well it was almost a perfect day on Friday, We went to the Leesburg Bike fest. I believe smaller is better now, so much more a relaxed atmosphere then The big D. Plenty of vendor's, good food, parking right along the center of the downtown area, bikes only and yes liquor and beer aplenty if that is your want. I am going tomorrow and will post pictures from Friday and Sunday together. Suzuki was only manufacturer represented, M109r's aplenty, one custom and a tricked out C50 on display.

The not so perfect part was on the way home, We stopped for gas about 20 miles from home, 5 of us gassed up and 4 got restarted, we worked on it for about an hour, deader then a door nail, but the battery was good. I went ahead home and got my van and 12' Lawn trailer and came back. We loaded it on the trailer ( BTW) on Sunday I am definitely going to look for some GOOD tie downs, had to stop 3 times to make adjustments. Well we got it home without a scratch on the bike but a slightly bruised ego for the owner.

Psst ..... The bike on the trailer shhh don't let this out but initials are
"HD"

Have to agree with your thoughts on Leesburg.

I really like that they close off the whole downtown for three days, bikes only, and that everything is together. Pretty good vendor selection, some really good bands on three stages, Ms BikeFest and Ms RatsHole contests were impressive, and nice food selection. I'm not a drinker, but was impressed that you could walk anywhere throughout the area with your drinks. There was plenty of law enforcement, but they were really nice to all, very tolerant, and I never saw any trouble. Also, there were trash bins everywhere, and they were continually being emptied by the sanitation crews, so everything was clean.

I was very impressed with this show, and will definately recommend it to anyone.
