If you can get her to ride on the bike then that would be funny. Afterall the President of our riding club has that dog that rides everywhere with him.

Well I think if "I" can non-Nancy it for the weekend then Rae will be able to also!!!! LOL!!!! I am working on seeing if my Bro will be willing to run chase vehicle. Not sure about him letting Shotz ride in his car. He may have to drive the 'Yota if you want him to bring Shotz along.

Just strap some bags to that Hammer and some to the Drifter. I have my bags that will be packed to capacity. We may camp it out,, will have to check on that,, I have a tent that Kelley bought me for Christmas that I can pack if I need to,, otherwise I have enough storage for me and "J"s stuff. But I am leaning more towards hotel rooms or cabins.

Well here is the updated list so far. Hopefully everyone can bombard the local places to see where the best places to stay will be. I left messages,, hopefully they will call me back in a timely fashion. I will start figuring mileage and "Best" routes to take for the most bang for the buck. Any Suggestions will be welcome.
Looking good!!!!!

1500 miles for me to get there. That would be a fun trip though.

Don,, if we can get the route planned and see where the mileage takes us,, maybe you can pack the bike then we can round robin it back to the same starting point,, unless we get a good chase car. If we start in Gatlinburg and finish in Gatlinburg,,, then we can ride light Saturday on the Dragon. Will have to see how the mileage looks and if everyone is up to it.

I will start plotting mileage tonight and see how far it is to do a round trip back to Gatlinburg. That way we can avoid carrying alot of luggage on the twisties. But if we can manage a good chase car then maybe the chase car can tote the luggage. HMMmmmm.....

Sounds like a good idea. Shoot them a PM and see if they will respond. Would be some really good photo shots for the forum and really bring alot more to this forum!!!!! Oh yeah Don,,, "J" said "Hey". She said she is looking forward to hanging out with everyone again. She said you were,, and I quote.

"A really nice, funny guy, who has a really good sense of humor."

I quickly said to her,,"Huh??? Have ya seen the bunny ears?" LOL!!!

If all systems are go, perhaps we can ride up there together. I'm in Wichita.

Dang!!!! That is cool as h*ll!!!!! If I could get the GS650G running that would be cool!!!! But there is no luggage room on that bike. That would be the bike my brother will be riding if he is up to speed by then. Hmm,,,but we lose the possibility of a chase car though if he rides.

But I seriously doubt he will be able to ride it by then. No Experience on a bike I think he needs to be in the cage. He hasn't taken the riding seriously enough yet to do it. Yep,, he needs to be a chase car and photo guy!!!! I will stress the benefits of the chase car and the benefit of getting to party with the guys and gals.

Just checked my vacation schedule. Everything looks good for the weekend of June 3rd. If you are looking for great trip plans try MadMaps. They have several pre-planned rides around that area that are alot of fun. The map cost $10.95 and is made by motorcycle riders. I'm spending my days off caging these trips right now so I know the area and routes better when I take the bike.
Count me in!
