Ok,, Everett Keith is leaving Wednesday early morning. I may,,,and I say I may leave Wednesday night and go to Macon. But it is looking like I will not be able to leave now until Thursday morning. Which if that is the case will put me in Jacksonville a little after lunch and then we will be in Daytona early Thursday evening about 3:00 to 5:00 time frame.

I have Doug's, Everett's, and Don's cell number. I am praying for better health by then and also that the Hurricane doesn't screw this weekend up also. Will know more tomorrow.

Ok,,here is the latest and greatest plan on the journey to the center of the Biketoberfest. Everett is leaving tomorrow morning and will be there after lunch sometime. Kelley is leaving tomorrow evening and is stopping in Jacksonville. He will be riding down with Pete and Rachel Thursday morning sometime,, maybe around lunch.

I will be leaving at 1:30 pm on Thursday with my bike in tow. I am waiting on "J" to get off work and we will ride straight to Daytona. That way she is not driving by herself late at night and I will not have to endure the elements while I am in my puny sick state.

Hopefully everyone will be able to meet up Friday morning. Email me before Thursday morning and I will get your numbers and call anyone that wants to try to meet up. I will give Doug, Everett, Don, and anyone else a call that gives me their number when I get there.

Hey Road Mamma!!!! I got your message and I will call you later to tell you about the weekend. AWESOME!!!!!! That is all I can say!!!!!! What happens in Daytona REALLY NEEDS to stay in Daytona!!!!! J/K!!!!!!

Well lets see,, I left out after lunch on Thursday and picked up "J" then we headed down to Daytona direct. Everett had got there Wednesday afternoon and he had already been scoping things out.

Kelley rode down to Jacksonville Wednesday night to stay with Pete and Rachel. They got up Thursday morning and Everett rode up to Jacksonville and rode back down with them.

drgibson--Don met up with him Thursday night and we hung out for a little while but the gunga gunga still had me in it's grips so I had to go back to the room and crash for the evening.

Friday was great. We all got up that morning and we rode to breakfast then hung out for the day. Later on that afternoon Don got us into the Bike show since he was on the VIP list with the Bike build contest they had. AWESOME BIKES he and the guys with Lonestar Cycles had built. I really really really wanted the custom one off bike they had built,,if I only had an extra $60,000 laying around I would have taken that bike home with me. They really did some awesome work on the bikes.

Unfortunately we did notice Don had picked up a serious screw in the M95's rear tire. But we did all ride over to dinner that night. Don is a Super nice guy and we all enjoyed getting to meet him and hanging out with him. After dinner we all went over to Karaoke at the hotel Pete and Rachel was staying at and DO NOT BELIEVE the pics Don posts,,that is NOT ME in the CHAPS!!!!!! We all were shaocked to see that "J" could sing like a platinum artists. She is all quiet and such and then she gets out there and belts out some award winning singing. Don was too funny when he went up to the stage and got down on his knees bowing to her!!!!!

Saturday was a hangout around the action day and we ran into Don but he was unfortunately feeling under the weather (hope he is feeling better) and myself and "J" decided to go for a ride that Don had told us about. GREAT RIDE DON!!!!! Thanks!!!! We really enjoyed that and I wished you could've made it. Since he was feeling crummy we didn't bother him the rest of the day and let him get his snooze so he would be up for the long ride he had ahead of him.

Saturday night we went to a restaurant and ate then everyone decided to go to bed early so we would be ready to make the journey home rested the next morning.

Got home Sunday evening late and the journey was over. Pete and Don had ALOT of pics of the trip and I am sure they will be sharing them with the forum.

Thanks Again to Don for the show!!!! I enjoyed meeting Don and hanging out with Everett, Kelley, Pete, Rachel, and my woman "J"!!!!!! It was some great times and I wished Doug, Tim, Road Mamma, and Carlos would've made it over there. Hopefully we can get a good turnout like this weekend for the next big events!!!!!!

By the way,,, if you debadge a Fire Engine Red Meanstreak,, add some Fire Rescue Stickers to it,, you will become a bikeweek celebrity,, ta ta's APLENTY!!!!!
