It was -1.5 degrees this morning, the roads are covered with ice, and my bike is in storage in the dealers warehouse, somewhere.

Still, you'd think there'd be something to talk about at least.

if i go look at my bike in storage... i might cry a little.. and then it would freeze and then i'd get sick, have to call into work and sit at home watching movies drinking beer all day.... wait now that i think of it that doesn't sound too bad of an idea

even when it's different, it's still the same.

I rode yesterday and it was 37 degrees. Had the chance to test ride a couple of bikes, an SV650 and YZF R6S. It was cold as heck but I survived.

We've got over 150 cm of snow on the ground. I can see the road from my house.

And just WHAT does this have to do with Europe and the U.K. ?

With the exception of southern Spain and Greece, it's WINTER over here! It's been hovering around freezing for the past couple of weeks. It should start to get a bit warmer in the next few days (maybe even breaking 45°F), but it's rain that's bringing the warmer temperatures.

Europe has winter?

I thought the European Union (not to be confused with Petticoat Junction) put limits on winter.

On the other end of the extremes, didn't London have a near catastrophe when they hit 89 F for two weeks a couple years back?

They'd hate WI, 90 + in summer, - 20 in winter. Fortunately, neither lasts too long.

Which reminds me, it's supposed to warm up this weekend. May have to fire up the scooter.

About as much as Switzerland has to do with every other thread you posted in today. Actually I didn't know what forum I was in.

You thought you were in "it's all about the Swiss, stupid" thread?
