Default which bike?

Im going to be getting a new bike soon, and i was wondering which one would be better for me.I have an 84 pe175 right now, and its pretty fast, i can beat my friends 2003 ttr-125 in 4th gear. but its a little heavy for me right now. im 14, about 140 pounds, and around 5'8-5'9. i was thinking of getting a bike anywhere from an '88-2000 RM125 or KX125 because i still want the tourque and speed that my old bike had..but lighter. would those be a good choice? i dont do a lot of trailing in the woods but sometimes i will trail a little, i do a little jumping, but i want to start hitting bigger gaps, and thats why im getting a lighter bike, the p.e is just too heavy for that right now.

I personally like the 125 2 strokes. I think you will find them to be fast light and handle great. All the Major brands make great 125's and you would not go wrong with any of them.

Don't rule out the 250 4 strokes if you can find one that you can afford in decent shape. You may find it easier to ride.

2 strokes are way more fun though. Might as well ride them while you still got the chance.

Take a look at the Honda. I was in the same boat...except I'm 34 and this is my first dirt bike! because I'm 6' 4" 230 I was down to the RMZ450 or the CRF450 I chose the CRF for the support behind the bike. That is very important. REALLY check out the 06 CRF250...Duel exhaust...NICE! good luck on whatever choice you make!
