Default Rebirth plastics?

Hi there! anyone have ways and ideas of how to revamp their worn out, beat up, clawed plastic fenders? give them the good old decent shine back once more? anyone? Cheers!

sand em down and repaint or if the paint is still good then clean them really well then lightly sand them and spray a coat of clear coat on it

you can try this, I haven't yet. they say if you use a heat gun the colors will run back through getting rid of the white creases. if you take your time you shouldn't ruin them. I haven't tried this so let me know how it works.

good luck.

I heard mop-n-glo works good on plastics, shines them right up, never tried it myself, but it might be safer and easier than the heatgun! i think you wipe it on. let it sit for a minute or two and wipe off.

Hi! done with the heatgun. It did worked, but not all the white can be dealed with and the shine is not there after the white disappears, giving it a blur surface.

Ya It Will Not Go Back To New Look. But You Shouldn't See Any White. Watched A Buddy Do It Last Night To His Yz Front Fender. Could Really See The Blue Run Through The Creases. He Got A Good Area Hot Not Just At The Crease.

what I bought my dirtbike, some doofus spray painted a silver stripe on the back fender (Spray paint doesnt stick well to plastic..DONT spray paint it) So I sanded it off with some light grit sand paper, and then with wet sanding sand paper, and then buffed it like yad buff a car, it worked really good. I didnt expect to get the shine back, but it actually came back. Id do that over the scuffs. Works good for me.
