Default Do i need to change the timing?

Hey.
I'm getting my barrel bored 1mm over and was wondering if i should adjust the timing for best results? I was thinking i will have to as the compression will be increased. Around how much should i advance it?
Thanks for any help
Dan

After thinking bout it if i had to change the timing i would have to retard it because the fuel would burn more efficiently??? Should this topic be in mechanics corner?? sorry
Dan
