Pwer valve question - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

Can someone tell me how to adjust the power valve on a 98 RM 125. The bike was apart when I bought it. I noticed the arrow on the retainer plate. Thanks for any help.

most times the powervalve is set at 1/2 to 3/4 turn (clockwise), just as it puts tension on the spring. the more tension on the spring the less bottom end you will have. i find in sand one full turn (clockwise) is best,
