Default DRZ400

hey,

i currently have a gixxer 600 and i love riding on the street. i also have a 2003 kawasaki kdx22r 2 stroke dirtbike, i love to ride off road, i love the roost and jumps, trails are the funnest for me. but i hate towing my bike someplace, i am thinking of selling my dirtbike and purchaseing a used drz400. what kinda performance can i expect from it? freeway speeds? how is the top gear, is it too weak for freeway trips? how does it wheelie?
can i get 10ft of air?does it feel heavy? pretty much any info will help me in my desicion. i have also been considering a kawasaki klr650.

thanks 4 ne input

dan

Default hey

low gears drz400 pop wheelies easy..shoots rocks out the rear like bullets...my dads friend owned a tricked out kx250,and after riding the 400,he said,"it felt like abuffalo or sumtin'",...i'd yet definately recomend a drz400 over the 650...the 400 will be way better 4 trails then the bike u currently own,....it will get u off jumps,...but u might whant to upgrade to tighter suspension, very soft on normal stock...i noe tht the 400 sounds much nicer than the 650...if u do decide on the 650,i noe my dads friend has one for sale...not sure of the year...good luck
