Default 98 RM 125 cylinder

I have a 1998 RM 125 with a worn top end. Can the cylinders be rebored, or do I replace?

Your bike has a Nikasil cylinder you can check the specs on it with a telescoping guage at 3 levels (bottom, middle, top). Unless you stick a piston or other disaster like overheating you should be fine. Most top end jobs are a simple matter of replacing the following parts....

Piston
Rings
Wrist pin
Wrist pin bearing
C clips
Head Gasket (if you remove the head)
Base Gasket

While you have it apart clean out your powervlaves.
