Bike: Going to be this friday a 95DR350 with street light conversion

|  No spark from DR350
I'm getting a 95 DR350 tomorrow from my best friend. It is the dirt model with the street lighting conversion. He says it's not getting any spark. He said the coil resistance is fine and the stator resistance was good. The only two things left I believe are the pickup from the flywheel and the CDI box. Does anyone have any experience with testing these? Is there anyplace to get these cheaper or get used? He said if it's the pickup, you have to buy the stator together which is expensive and of course if it's the CDI it's also expensive. I saw a 98 DR200 CDI box on ebay, does anyone know if it will work on the 350? Thanks, |
