Default Just some advice needed

I was offered a 2001 RM 125 that needs some carb work for 1400. My 1992 runs great first kick everytime. Do you guys think its worth it to get rid of my bike which i am used to now and love to buy the 2001? Is it that much of a difference?

The idea is that motors do get better over time so ideally the newer 125 would be better depending on the rest of its condition. The price is pretty good and if all you need to do is rebuild the carb then thats a good deal. If you got the extra money then become a bike collector. You never know when a pal will want to tag along that doesnt have a bike of his/her own.

Try and keep the one you have and find a way to come up with 1400 for the 2001.

I had a 2000 RM 250 and sold it for my 2002. I loved my 2000 RM but the 2002 is a real MONSTER!!! I could not believe the difference in motor strength. Even with all the mods to the 2000 bike it was not as strong as the 2002!
