|  gear selection trouble i have a 84rm 250e it will change up the gears fine but when you try to change down the changer goes all floppy and wont change gear.if you lean down and use your hand it selects the gear,does anyone no how to fix this  |

| Sounds like your actuator inside the case has either broken or dislodged. It is a toothed half circle that dovetails into another gear witch operates your shift forks. Hard to explain but you will need to remove the clutch cover and have a good look inside.
