Default Big problem or not?

I was riding saturday for about six hours and when i got home i noticed the front right fork was leaking oil very slowly but, where the seal is had a thin layer of oil over it and from landing on jumps some of the fork oil was on the fork. Is this a huge problem that i should get fixed now? Or is it ok for awhile? Thanks

A friend of mine raced dirt bikes and any time he had a sign of fluid whether it be oil leaking slowly or any oil at all from anywhere he would get it checked. Wouldn't want to be out riding and land after a nice jump only to have the fork seal fail and leave you eating soil

you might be ok for another ride or two or ten, but why chance it?

get the seals and dust covers replaced at the very least. If it's been a while, you might as well do full service and replace all the fluid, seals, and O rings inside.

Get it fixed. I would do both forks because after you fix the leaky fork, in no time the other side will start to leak sure as S#iT

Stevie, Fix it!
It's a 2bit piece of rubber, not worth risking a bad landing or oil on your front disk!

it could easily end up in more damage from a fall, or the suspension bottoming out hard and bending a tube or even cracking the steering head.

Default Fork Seals

Definatley worth getting them done, they may works fine but its when you land you'll need them. Cost around £80 to fix (most of this is labour charges) and its better leaving it to the proffesionals who have the correct tools in my experience
