Flywheel Weight for '03 RM250 - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

I Have an '03 RM250. Has anybody ever put a flywheel weight on one? They're available in a 6, 8, 10 oz. & I'm thinking of putting on the 8oz to try and tone down this wild beast. If anyone has any comments it'd be appreciated.

Let me know what you think of it once you install it. I may do the same on my 02 as it is a real ANIMAL with power from idle to redline... I don't know why Suzuki even put a front wheel on it!!!!

Ride trail almost entirely and I put a 10oz on my 04 RM. Feels pretty good, its still got the snap when you want it but it can tractor over some gnarly sections without stalling or pitching you off into a ditch.

MY friend put one on his RM 250 said it was the best thing he has ever Done to it.

I have to laugh as this is the first time I am trying to make less power( maybe not less but more calm) with my RM 250 motor. I can see why the 01-05 RM250 has got such a great reputation with everyone. I had a 2000 RM 250 that was a great motorcycle but It doesnt hold a candle to my 02 RM250! Thes RM 250's are monsters! I call mine the Rhino because it is as powerful as one LOL!
