Need parts/advice DR350S - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

I just purchased a 95' DR350S, I am very happy with it but I need a few things to get it road ready. I have looked everywhere for a speedometer, mine is broken but the tach still works. I could only find one so far at a parts place and they wanted $216 just for the individual guage itself not even for the whole assembly! The tach alone was over $300. I gave $1300 for the bike! Is there a good "used" parts place out there?? Also, I want to repaint the bike and have no idea on what kind of paint to use or anything....please help, it would be greatly appreciated.

For parts do a search on ebay and also Google for motorcycle slavage. A place in California called Cycle Recyclers would have it I think they don't have a website though. The advertise in Cycle News.

As for paint you can get a local Auto body shop to give you some painting advice. Just remember preperation is 9/10ths of the look of the finished product when you paint!
