I would be interested to talk about the LT250R's anytime and about problems or improvements anyone has recently experienced.

One thing you can do to strngthen the frame. They are prone to cracks in the corners where the pieces of the frame join together. If you cut pieces to fit called "gussets" and have them welded in to the corners you will prevent the frame from cracking. The motor has a lot of torque and you can inhance that charicter with a pipe and silencer. I believe DG still make a combo for it. Also a wider rear axle will do wonders for the handling if you decided you need that.

Thanks for the info. What carb set up seems to work the best for about an 8 port job and bored to 50 over with the DG pipe and silencer?

Jetting is a "Balck Art" and all sorts of perameters affect what jetting specs you need. Not only the motor configuration but also Altitude, Weather, Fuel just to name a few.
Get someone that really knows jetting to help you. If you do it without any knowledge you are asking for trouble.
