|  Can't get rear hub off King Quad I need 2 replace brakes on rear of '96 KQ. Took wheel off, removed cotter pin, castle head nut, four nuts in the middle that I think connect to the brake drum. Bolted a plate to the five studs on the hub that the wheel bolts to and hooked a slide hammer to the plate. I have pounded and pounded and that sucker won't budge. One thing that may be a cause is that the castle head nut was extremely hard to get off. Maybe it was put on too tight and wedged the hub on too tight. Any suggestions?

| never mind I had to take the whole assembly off the axle and go in from the back side and knock it out with a steel bar. The hub was rusted on to the bearings. Now I'll clean everything and replace the bearings. Should be ok then.
