| Hey all, im kind of a noob when it comes to riding dirtbikes but i finally went out and bought myself a 2002 RM250. I've ridden all kinds of ATVs and a few dirtbikes here and there but nothing as fast as this thing! I have a new respect for anyone who rides a dirtbike and jumps, or races, or does any of that crazy stuff you see people doing nowadays, because it is a hell of a lot harder than i thought it would be! Any one have any tips for the noob on how not to kill myself on this thing? Also it has a full Bill's Performance exhaust on it.....i've never heard of them before....are they any good? thnx for the feedback!

| Yes, the Bill's is a good thing! I too have a RM250 and have been out of the dirt bike loop for 25 years. The power is unreal and respect "MUST" be maintained.Good luck with your bike and remember a hard day of riding takes about 3 days to get full movement back.

| I nicknamed my 02 RM250 "The Rhino" Becuase it is as mean as one! It does not need the front wheel as the front end is always pointing toward the sky! I had a 2000 RM250 that I thought was fast but this 02 is rediculous!!!! Just take your time and the speed will come as you gain confidence. The one thing is to not fall into the pressure to do anything on it if you do not feel compfortable..... Enjoy the bike! |
