Default what year is my old rm 125?

Just picked up an old rm 125 to rebuild but unsure what year, I know there is a way to decode the vin #, but not sure how to do it. Any help would be appreciated! VIN#: JS1RF14A9K210184

Thanks alot, still not sure how that works, but '89 works for me... Why don't they just stamp 1989 on the darn frame????
