| The CDI controls other functions other than just the ignition. I recommend you use the proper year CDI for your bike. Look on ebay or a motorcycle breaker like cycle recyclers. Or save your money and buy a new one from Suzuki.

| I own a '95 RM 125, and it's been my experience that many items from the years '93 to '95 {Models P/R/S, I believe} are interchangeable. This, however, is not an absolute for ALL parts. I would do more research before buying the item off ebay. Your local Suzuki shop is a good place to start, although depending how they are staffed you may not be speaking with an "expert".

| Try a guy called Wayne Gum at wayne@erd.co.nz He is in New Zealand and manufacturers CDI's. I recently bought one for an 85 xt550, and it cost around $130, and comes with a 1 year warranty. His service etc is really top notch.
