Default Lowering a DR 650 SE

I would like to lower my 650 several inches without having to purchase the lowering kit, any suggestions?

The parts are in the front forks already, and the rear kit is really cheap, also a gel seat is available from Suzuki accesories which your dealer can order for you. Ask your local dealer to look it up on their service bulletins, the info is available. And the dealer will sell the rear shock part to you, if you can disassemble front forks and reassemble them properly, you can do the front, the seat id easy, and the rear shock is equally easy.
