Question over filled the oil during oil change

I have a leak after doing an oil change. It dawned on me that my bike sat in my trailer after getting it home from eastern oregon last week, it was there for 4 days or so waiting for the weather to change. Not a drop of oil so it has to be from putting too much oil in. Now I have to figure out where it would leak from in that event, maybe a crank case ventilation tube or something. If this sounds familiar please help me out. Thanks.

Won't the leak stop once you properly adjust the oil level?

Nonsense. It doesn't HAVE to be any such thing.

Could be an improperly tightened drain plug.
Could be from an improperly installed filter.
Could be just a strange coincidence.

It all depends upon where the leak IS and how much is coming out.
Could just be a few drops left over from the change itself and not a leak at all.

So.........what indication of a leak DO you have?
And what makes you think you over-filled?

leaking like a sieve, might be coming from the lower clutch cover area, it is in the shop being looked at, just my luck.
