Default backfiring and sputtering
i have a susuki lt250r 4 wheeler and it was running good and all of a sudden it started backfiring and sputtering when you try to give it a lot of throttle.it will idle.does anybody know what this could be

did it sit for any amount of time? It wouldn't hurt to clean the carb(s).

i found that the rubber hose that ties the exaust to pipe coming out the back was busted completey do you think this would make a different

i'm not exactly sure what was busted, but, rubber hoses are cheap. Replace it while you're working on it anyway and maybe that will solve the problem.
