Default JR50 Plastics

Has anyone ever tried to use the newer plastics on an older JR50?

The side panels are my problem, I was thinking of getting a set of Side Panel's Product No. 21305 by Maier but they are for 1983-1999 and its for the daughters 1978 JR50C

No one has that I can find plastics for 78-82 JR50's

how bad are your old plastics? Have you thought of trying to refinish them?

Shoot me a picture of your plastics and if the scratches are not too bad I could probably re-dor them for you at a fair price.

Default Side panels

the sides on the old ones are not PVC like the new stuff, they are a hard plastic like a styrene. the left side is melted a bit and cracked right thru, I can redo the PVC stuff fine and easy redo the right side, that left is just too deformed is all. Thanx anyhow.
