Default 1998 Yamaha RT180

I bought this RT and went to ride and noticed the shift lever was not gripping the shaft. I tried torquing the screw but the teeth are bare the lever. The teeth aren't bad on the shift shaft. Are there any quick fixes that could avoid having to buy a new shift lever?

Ok, the shift lever problem has been fixed. Epoxy works real well. Now can you tell me if the pipe outlet on the exhaust affects back pressure in the bike?

I just noticed your post. Glad you fixed the shift level. Even a new lever doesn't cost that much. Yes the plug affects back pressure.
