Are they the stock blinkers? I once had that problem when trying to use LED's as blinkers on my cruiser....

Default Fixed!!

The wattage on the flasher is 17 watts x 2 bulbs. The aftermarket bulbs were 8 watts. I installed the larger bulbs ,17 watts, and blinkers started working!! There wasnt enough voltage draw to engage the flasher unit. I hope this helps out someone else who is having trouble with 6 volt turn signals.

i was just about to suggest something along those lines (i.e. 6v system, stock globes, new flasher) Another thing to think about is perhaps the original blinker was a 6v one, was shot, then you put a 12v one in.

anyway glad to see you got it working.
