My son has a DRZ-125, how do i check the oil level? How often should the oil be changed? and is there an owners manual available?

If the kid is going to keep it a while, forget the owners manual and get a service manual. It's alot more money but if you can handle a wrench it'll pay for itself in one service.

I've got two Honda XR-100 mini-bikes, one stock and one hot rodded. I change the oil about threet times a summer and it's never real bad. They only take about a quart or so (RTFM for your own bike) but I'm sure it's similar. Neither of mine use even a snit of oil and I race them in a "Mad Dog Mini" class for adults at my local flat track races, meaning super high revs and pretty severe conditions.
