Default fork seals

My 1996 RM250 needs the fork seals replaced. Anyone done this with any sucess? I've done plenty of repairs; just never done any fork repairs. I ordered a factory manual which never came in. They finally told me the manual was no longer available. I will have to order a Clymers manual which always seem to be too generalized and vague. Thanks......Josh

not sure about the fork seals. but if you have done alot of repairs to your bike you may be able to help me with mine please. i have a 96 rm250 as well and i am having trouble with it fouling plugs. i have a new carb and the a compression ratio on the engine is in good condition. just cant seem to keep it from fouling plugs. rides on a new plug for about a day and then fouls.

[bI WOULD CHECK THE FOLLOWING:CHECK FOR GOOD COMPRESSION, PREMIX RATIO CORRECT, CORRECT PLUG BEING USED?, AIR/FUEL MIXTURE SCREW SETTING, CLEAN AIR FILTER
I TRIED SEVERAL PLUGS UNTIL MY BIKE RAN GOOD. THE STOCK PLUG IS IRIDIUM STYLE (EXPLENSIVE, BUT MAY BE YOUR BEST BET). GOOD LUCK. [/b]

yeah i've pretty much done everything you mentioned above.

i even used the expensive iridium plug, still fouled it.

for some reason i just cant seem to get this thing to stop fouling plugs, no matter how good the plugs are.

thanks anywayz
